Pozo Araoz School
The school the community dreamed of needs your push.
Pozo El Aráoz is a Toba community in Santa Victoria Este, Salta, that decided to change its destiny by building its own school so that children no longer have to walk more than 30 km a day to study.

Education as a tool for community transformation
With the drive of Pata Pila and its allies, in 2024 the first classrooms were built and the restrooms were opened; the school began to operate, but it still needed finishing work and equipment for decent conditions.
In 2025 the infrastructure was consolidated: three classrooms (plastered, unpainted), two outdoor restrooms, photovoltaic power and internet connectivity; the community contributed labor and Pata Pila coordinated resources and partnerships.
